At Trigger’s Toys, we’ve been cheering up children since 2009 (that’s 91 in dog years!). In the beginning, we focused exclusively on medically vulnerable children and their families. This commitment remains today, but our understanding of vulnerability has changed over the course of our journey in philanthropy.
In 2020, as our country was gripped by a pandemic that revealed the systemic challenges that many children face to achieving their potential, we broadened this scope to include justice-involved youth through our partners at Youth With Faces. While we were initially attracted to their dog training program, our funding has enabled them to build the capacity of their overall effort to unlock opportunity for this children.
Over the years, we have generated nearly $1M for our charitable partners through our donations and matching funds.
When your child has an extended stay in the hospital, you need a place of refuge. With the help of 76 volunteers and a donation of roughly $75,000, the team at Trigger’s Toys created a tranquil courtyard at Our Children’s House at Baylor Scott & White Health. For many families this has served as a calming environment in the midst of a storm.
100% of your generosity funds joy and normalcy to the most precious of patients and the parents and doctors they depend on.
